If you've booked during the Star Perks Event, what "perk" did you choose?

I chose the premium beverage package, though really not quite sure what this includes. Is it the same as the premium beverage package you can purchase?

we chose the BP too.

Yes, it's the same you can buy onboard on the first day.

Everything is included up to around 12$/glass including specialty coffee if i remember correctly. Top shelf, too (Grey Goose and the like). But maybe that's because we're ladies. :)

I went to book Friday and when I called the woman have me a quote and then when I inquired about the "free perk" she raised my price $770.

Seems sneaky! That's how it used to be when they offered the "free hotel" rooms. If you declined, your cruise price went down. Thanks for reporting, as that's really interesting to know.

Thanks also Bobetpine for the information.

With a name like kywhiskey, I would have thought you would be a cinch to go for the Bev Package. :D

@DWhit: What do you do with my name? ;)

My sense is that the star perks event is not a good value. It is available on the current cruise I am booked on, but I had booked earlier at a better price and with a generous ship board credit. In the end, the star perks pricing is several hundred dollars per person more expensive.

The price was more than the shipboard credit and the amount of the hotel because the representative gave me the first price and then came back with the second price.
