Parking in Key West

Hi: We plan to drive down to Key West after we disembark Oasis in May. We will be there for the day and hope to park somewhere and just stroll the town. Can anyone tell me a good place to park?

Also -We are thinking of starting our walk at the Southernmost point and wandering up Duval and back Whitehead as our main route. Does that sound doable? We will have a 4 year old with us.

Thanks for your help.

There's the Key West park & Ride ---> http://www.cityofkeywest-fl.gov/egov/apps/services/index.egov?path=details&action=i&id=147

And up Duval then right on South will take you to the Point. Then back down Whitehead. If you don't go all the way to the end Crossing back on Caroline will show you a lot of things.

This is where we park when we fly into MIA or FLL and rent a car and drive down for a week (assuming we can't find street parking).

These suggestions are fine if you're ok paying to park. If you go about a block north of simonton on south street you can find free street parking. You'll be about three blocks from southern most point and you can make the loop down duval over at green then back up whitehead back to southern most point. It'll be about a 2 1/2 mile loop.
