Bermuda late April / Early May

We are sailing on NCL BA the week of April 24. I know weather is unpredictable (as we prepare for a potential snowstorm this weekend), but I'm trying to figure out of booking a catamaran/ snorkeling trip would be worth it. I'm concerned the water will be too cold for much swimming / snorkeling. Thoughts from those who have travelled at that time? TIA.

Almost everyone will find the water to be too cold for swimming/snorkeling in late April. It usually isn't warm enough until mid to late May.

We were there last May.

One day was nice. One day was rainy. Both days were o the cooler side.

I know it would be too cold for me to go in the water.

We were there the first week in May last year. We went to Horseshoe Bay and it was a perfect day to walk the beach and the water was warm.

This year we are going in mid-April. I doubt if we will be as lucky.

hello in advance-we'll be on same cruise

We were there the first week in May last year. We went to Horseshoe Bay and it was a perfect day to walk the beach and the water was warm.

 

 

 

This year we are going in mid-April. I doubt if we will be as lucky.

I would never go that time of year anymore because I love the beaches and swimming but there are plenty of things to do beside that. If I had not already toured Bermuda quite a few times I would consider those dates. Also for golfers it is great golf weather. My friend who golfs loves that time of year.
