Stopgap Cruise Ship

Hello Edie,

My question is with the new Ocean Cruise ships not coming online until 2022 have you considered taking on an existing ship which may be available from another company and modernising it to Crystal standards as a stopgap until the new ships are ready. You have previously successfully done this with Esprit and Mozart.

Thank you for the compliment on our success with the re-imagination of Crystal Esprit and Crystal Mozart. I am very proud of the amazing team on land and at sea who accomplished these monumental projects within the past year. It was no easy task, and they did a superb job in delivering beautiful vessels for Crystal’s new brand extensions.

Going forward, our near term focus is the building and on time delivery of the new vessels for Crystal River Cruises (Crystal Bach, Crystal Mahler, Crystal Debussy and Crystal Ravel), and Crystal Yacht Expeditions as well as accelerating the enhancements to Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity. We believe this is an opportunity to provide luxury travelers’ discerning preferences and exceed their wishes.
