Evacuation Footage

Not sure if anyone has seen this footage taken during the evacuation of the recent fire?

I hope he enjoyed his 10 days of working on a cruise ship because I have a feeling that his contract may be cut short after that video is seen by his supervisor. ;)

What was he talking about when he said there were 1000 guests on board?

The last fire was on 6/6, the day the shipyard was giving tours of the ship to friends and family of the workers.

Supposedly 17,000 people toured the ship that day.

Does the 3 fires count the dumpster blaze in front of the Epic that lasted a full day? If not, the total amount of fires is 4.

Accidents happen but there is NO excuse for allowing these troublemakers back on board. For example. Why are there no arrests yet for the other serious fire? There are no surveillance videos that can give authorities any suspects?

People need to held accountable.

That video is a perfect example of the saying about opinions. I wish I could get those two minutes of my life back.

So ignorant! Why did he find it necessary to curse so much? The problem is that people make a joke out of everything until its a real fire. I cant take him serious that he was a worker, he was probably a visitor.

Thanks for posting. It's a serious situation, but that was a humerous outlook by at least one person.

That "dude" does not work on that ship. He isn't smart enough to work a paint brush.

Well..if he did work on the ship...he doesn't anymore...as soon as NCL Miami gets a load of this video, he's done.

I was disappointed in the video...I thought I was actually going to see something...like the people ON the ship and they were being evacuated and them telling them why they were being evacuated. Not some guy filming himself walking in a line with tons of people around. :rolleyes:

Definitely a "Career Limiting Move'.

If he is an employee, I am sure he will be offered a career change opportunity :)

At least the ship has been docked during these events.

Fire at sea would scare me a whole lot more. On a positive, it is good to see that the Fire systems are all in working order. They seem to be able to get them under control quickly.

I see a movie coming though.......

On the plus side we know the Epic has had lots of practice dealing with fires!

I thought the line "ALL the ships I've worked on (1) catch fire......frequently!" was brilliant.

Had me laughing out loud.

Looks to me like he was trying to be funny. Trying to use humor in a situation like this.

I also thought he was quite funny. A little humor in a situation like that can't hurt. I enjoyed "everyone talking different languages so I just follow the hand signals"
