What night is the formal night on NCL on a 7 day?

Hi all, I know, silly question, but I can't remember what night is the formal night on the cruise? We are trying to plan our dining on the Dawn coming up and want to plan around that!

There is no actual Formal Night on NCL. They will have "dress up or not" night on a sea day. I do not know your itinerary.

Thanks! Probably 2nd day onboard then, it is our first full sea day (only one of two and the last one is the day before we leave, so doubt it is that day). thanks.

There is no formal night but the night they have lobster in the dining room is the first night. Right after you leave port. Not many people know this. It is not advertised and in the menu as surf and turf :) this will be the only day it will be free and in a dining room. I do believe you can get it in one of the specialty restaurants that cost money any night but only first night in dinning room.

I like NCL because there is no formal night.

Dress Up or Not night is now giving way to Norwegian's Night Out. You can dress up if you like or do not dress up. Choice is yours. No formal night.

I believe the "dress up or not" night on my April cruise was during the latter part of the cruise. I was doing well in the casino and then noticed there were a lot of the women with sparkly outfits on....I had been playing the slots for some time (and winning) and was in shorts and t-shirt.
