The studio cabins are awesome and very popular. Cabins are spacious and well designed for the solo traveller although some have connecting doors whereby friends/partners could have their own space when travelling together. The studio lounge is also a big bonus with tea/coffee/water/cookies and cereal/snacks available. There is also a bar manned nightly 5 to 7pm. There solo rep is also there then to help/advise on ports etc. Hope this helps you decide but for a budget cruise these cabins are great.

Thank you, Carolyn. Much help ! Now, my next plan is to gather enough wits to travel solo. Food for my thoughts? :p

Go for it with any NCL ships because they do cater for the solo traveller well. I have done a budget trip on Spirit in an inside when there was a cheap deal and had a fabulous time. I am a retired solo traveller and was only introduced to cruising again recently but feel NCL are 'on the ball' with catering for singles.

There is a white board in the studio lounge too if you want to ask for a partner for dinner/tours etc and the solo rep also organises a dinner for all.

Good luck and enjoy yourself, you can have a fab time onboard, have company and feel safe.
