11:29am Flight out of Newark

:confused:Hello, we will be leaving the Summit on Sunday Oct 5th flying Jet Blue. Our flight is 11:29 on a Sunday morning. We plan to leave the ship as early as possible and have a car service waiting. Can we make our 11:29am flight? Hopefully the Summit will offer Luggage Valet.... Thanks for any help!

I'm not aware of any luggage valet offered on ships arriving at Cape Liberty. It's a tight time frame, but it should be doable on a Sunday morning. You will have to be signed up for self disembarkation and be ready to go with your luggage as soon as the ship is cleared and have a car service waiting.

Self disembarkation is the only way..

If you do self walk off and there are no snafus with the ship's arrival, you should be fine. But.........last year I went to pick up family and there was an issue.......passengers did not even START to get off until 1PM. It is VERY VERY rare, but it does happen. Have no idea how folks who missed flights made out.

For the last several years weather in the NY metro during October has been highly unpredictable. We've had 2 hurricanes & 2 Halloween snow storms. Keep that in mind.

It's about a 45 minute drive & you need to be at the AP by at least 10:30 if not earlier. Are you sure you think this is a good idea? It seems tight & stressful to me.

Should be no problem with self-assist.
