Limitations on bottle sizes?

Recommended Posts

There is no limit if it is in your checked bags. If you have it in your carry-on , there is a limit. Not sure if it's 3 or 4 oz.

To clarify, that's the rule for flying, not when getting on a cruise ship...

There is no such limit when getting on a ship.

There is no limit on the size of bottles of sunscreen and such that you can carry onto a ship. It doesn't have to be in your checked luggage. However, if you have several giant bottles of mouthwash don't be surprised if they check to make sure that it isn't liquor.

If you are carrying on, the limit is 3 oz bottles and all your liquids have to fit in one quart size bag.

If you are checking bags, then it doesn't matter

You are referring to airline rules.

The OP is asking about rules getting on the ship.

You can bring bottles of any size onto the ship. Feel free to go to Sam's Club or Costco and buy the 1 gallon bottles of sunscreen, shampoo, and conditioner.
