Speightstown attractions / restaurants ?

Has anyone toured the attractions / had lunch in Speightstown?

How far from cruise pier?

Did you visit....

1. The Mural?

2. Tiyi By Design Art Studio?

3. Gallery of Caribbean Art?

4. Are these places close enough to walk or do you need the driver to take you to each?

5. Where did you have lunch? Would you recommend it or not? What did you eat? Was there a view?

6. Estimated pricing of items at each?

Speighstown is quite a distance from the Bridgetown Port and your best option would be a taxi. Bridgetown is more in the south and Speighstown is in the north of the island. Opposite ends of the Island.

It is quite a historic town and well worth seeing just for appreciation of the architecture.

I honestly can't speak to the other items you asked about except to say that I know the owner/operator of Tiyi by Design personally. She is a born and bred local from the area and quite talented. We fell out of touch years ago so have had no personal contact with her in ages.

You can walk through town along Queen Street. You will see St Peter's Parish Church. There is also The Fisherman's Pub for a lunch of local food. Walk a little further and there's the Speightown Bakery.

I don't know about the art gallery.
