Default beach break on Crete.

our cruise ship ocean Village offer a 4 hour stop at Arina beach which includes sunloungers and umbrella for £36 for 2 people. Would it be a lot cheaper doing it by taxi and hiring the equipment , or is there not much in it.? I am also factoring in any hassle finding a taxi both ways, and as my husband is partially disabled , convenience must also be factored in.
