Quebec Hotel

I would like suggestions for a Quebec hotel prior to our cruise in late September or early October. Hopefully close to cruise pier. Any suggestions are welcome as we are clueless about what areas of the city are good places to stay. Have looked at TripAdvisor but still would like to hear suggestions. We will be sailing on NCL Dawn.

There are several small boutique-style hotels within walking distance of the port (in order of distance):

Le Port-Royal

Le Germain Hotel

Hotel 71

Auberge Saint-Antoine

Hotel Le Priori

Auberge Saint-Pierre

Note that the construction work which I posted about in one of the linked threads is scheduled to be completed in May, so should not be an issue.

ETA: just checked the port schedule for the dates that the Norwegian Dawn is in. It's in port with several other ships, so a good chance it will be at Wharf 30, rather than the main cruise ship terminal. In that case, I'll add http://www.lesaintpaul.qc.ca/en/"]Hotel Le Saint-Paul into the mix - it's the closest to Wharf 30, even though it's still a hike if you want to walk it, so you might want to still get a taxi.
