Self Debark/Transfer Questions

We have an 11:30 flight out of Miami. Should we do self debark and if so, can someone recommend the best transportation back to the airport? Or should we wait to be called and take our chances with Celebrity transfers? I've been doing some shuttle researches, but having never done this, not sure if shuttle is the answer or just taking a taxi. Either would be fine. Just not sure the availability of taxis on debarkation day.

Thanks in advance for your help/recommendations.

From the port of Miami to the MIA airport is an easy 15+ minute cab ride ($27+tip flat rate fare - ignore the meter ;))

For an 11:30 flight you need to be at MIA by about 10 - 9:30 or earlier is better (TSA and check in lines at MIA can be chaos). You should not have any issues with being off the ship in plenty of time to make your flight.

Skip the cruise line transfer bus - taxi will be cheaper and faster.

I would check what the earliest time that Celebrity recommends for flights from Miami. That recommendation is for Celebrity transfers.

What time does your ship actually arrive? You'll have to allow up to 60 minutes before you'll self disembarkation will start.

Should make the 11:30 flight if you take a taxi to the airport and not to wait for any shuttles.
