Best beach break and why?

Best beach break in Costa May and why?

Looking for a place that is not loud, and can make everyone in my party (ages 14, 18, 2- 50 and a 77 year old). I know my 18 year old can drink...not happy about that but it's okay.

Want a clean beach, good food, comfy chairs and no pesky vendors.

Been to Maya Chan and loved it, considering it again. I want someone to talk me out of it.

If you liked Maya Chan, you might consider Almaplena. It's a little further south, less possibility of encountering sea grass, limited # of people, recent service and food reports appear to be a continuance of their good reputation.

If you want to avoid an A.I. and have a pay-as-you-go experience, then look into Blue Kay. It's before the main malecon. Good food, good service, less crowded than any of the malecon beach clubs. Take a taxi from port as you'll have to walk back up the beach if you take a tram. Several posts and pictures on this board.

Agree with Blue Kay or Almaplena. Both are awesome and beautiful places to go with hardly any vendors (well, none at Almaplena).
