Embassy Suites to Total Wine

Hello

Please could you let me know if it is safe to walk to Total Wines on Cordova Road from Embassy Suites ? On Google maps it says it is 11 minutes.

Total Wines is located behind Embassy Suites in the Harbor Shops, next too Publix Supermarket. There are lots of stores in case you need any personal items, and the entire area has ample dining venues within a 5-10 minute walk. No need to cross any major streets to reach Total Wines, as you exit the hotel, turn right and right again to the main entrance to the shopping center - it's a very safe area, one I have walked through day & night. Just watch for cars turning left/right.

No safety issues at all.

5 min walk behind hotel in a shopping plaza

Use the same precautions you would at home when walking thru a busy parking lot.

When we stayed at Embassy Suites prior to a cruise, we bought our wine at Publix as they were open earlier than Total Wine. We were up early due to time difference, so had breakfast (less crowded the earlier you go) , then visited shops. Think it was 9.30am or 10 am that Total Wine opened.

If you have a few days prior to cruise, the Sun Trolley picks up in front of Publix..you can visit the beach and / or Galleria Mall for $1 per person each way, or $3 per person for an all day ticket.

There are some great eating places also in that area. We ate at Duffy's and loved it.

I agree, Duffy's is a great place to eat. Reasonable prices and good service.

Choose an inside table (unless you like smoke all over your food), as smoking is allowed on the patio.!!
