New Orleans Rental Car

Will be staying in NO for a couple of days after my cruise. Was wondering if there are rent a car companies near the port that pick you up and then you can drop off at the airport without a one way drop charge. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hertz is at the Convention Center, right near the port.

I am no help on the car rental but I see you will be in NOLA mid December, be sure to check out the Reveillon Dinner specials around town! I don't think the 2013 list has been release yet, but it is great value for amazing food.

Avis or Budget on 1317 Canal street,

no surcharge on one way rental.

Price is usually less than Hertz,

price will be even lower if you know how to get the discount coupons online.

This poster would have to then use a cab, or streetcars for the port, I don't think they have any shuttles, but verify. May be a great option if they do. I have found, Enterprise on Canal, to many times have lower rates then others. Bonus, they will pick up and drop off, BUT there may be a wait involved.

I have arranged some of my trips, depending on the schedule. Great time to enjoy New Orleans. :)

Our cruise out of New Orleans ends on a Sunday, and we will be looking for a one way rental car at the port or close by. I just checked Enterprise, but they are not open on Sundays
