Oh you mean the dude who took a $90MM bonus last year and offered the Costa Concordia survivors and the families of those who lost their lives a minuscule amount of money to go away? Don't expect any action from him if you have a problem

MsMot,

The President of Carnival Cruise Lines has nothing to do with Costa Cruise Lines.

Even if you email or send a letter to his address he most likely wont be the one to answer you. I work for a large corporation and the only time a CEO actually answers any type of mail is after it has gone through every other channel including those who answer his mail.

Yeah I hate to burst your bubble but you'll be wasting your breath, or paper, or time :P the only people usually wrong to CEO's are extremely frustrated people going off the handle who have no where else to do so. They don't take those complaints very seriously. The best way, as with most customer service, is to go through the correct channels with a proper balance of urgency and tact, without undue emotion. Has always worked for me!

If he writes you back, let us know though. It's cold this week but maybe hell will freeze over too!

I fully understand he won't see my letter! And I don't have any complaints to write...it's a completely different matter, but thanks to all your responses!

I did send an email to him after our cancelled 'Sandy' cruise last year, and although he didn't respond himself (nor did I expect he would) I was very pleased with the response I got to my issue on his behalf, VERY pleased.
I also know of someone else who emailed his office and was also VERY pleased with the outcome.

I once had an issue/question that I wanted a straight answer to.

After exhausting all the normal channels and receiving nothing but Carnival's canned response, I emailed the CEO.

Let me tell you...I received several phone calls and emails quickly.

No, not from him personally. Like other higher-ups, he delegated. But my question did get answered. He gave my email to his "people" and they did their job. Guess that's what happens when the CEO himself gives an employee a job to do.
