Atlantis one day pass. How much do they cost

My husband and my two kids (8 & 3) are going on the 4 day DCL. We will be arriving in Nassau on Tuesday and my daughter wants to visit Aquaventure but I can't afford the excursion through the cruiseline. I tried to book a room at the Comfort Suites but they are all booked.

Does anyone know how much is the one day pass at Royal Towers and what areas are you allowed to visit with it?

For your family to enjoy the pools and slide, you'll need a day pass. Adults are $105pp and kids are $75 each.

Passes are available based on occupancy, and first come first serve. This time of year you shouldn't have a problem with getting a pass early in the day.

You have to go to the Royal Towers Desk or the kiosk in the casino to purchase day passes.

The Aquarium is included in the all day pass. If you just want the Aquarium, you can get a pass for $35pp. $23 for kids.

It doesn't include the pools, slides or beach, but does include viewing the predator (shark) lagoon.

Day Passes are only available SAME Day (with the exception of the cruise ship tours). They are available based on occupancy. So it's unlikely that you will find them available for Thanksgiving week, Christmas week and a couple of key weeks during Spring Break. They are also in short supply when certain "events" or concerts take place on the property.

I think I read that the one day passes are $120 each. We will be there 12/3 (I guess that will be part of thanksgiving week). My dd, 10 and I are planning a visit. I looked at the website and saw they had a room open that day for not much more than the passes.

I have searched the website for these answers and can't find information. Do you know...

Is a childs pass the same price as an adults?

Do all of the rooms at Atlantis include full use of the resort?

I ask these because if so I think it would make the most sense to book a room at Atlantis rather than comfort suites to insure we get passes and have the room right there to shower and change in.

Adults are 105 and children 75 Since 12/3 might be considered Thanksgiving weekend do you suggest getting a room at Atlantis for 219 in the beach tower or do you think comfort suites would be a better deal.

I don't mind paying a little more if the Atlantis room includes all resort access (and maybe some discounts????) and is less of a walk.

What is your opinion?

What do you think our chances are of getting a day pass during Spring Break on March 19th? I checked the room prices at the Comfort Suites for this day and they aren't much better than just doing the excursion with the ship but the Atlantis day pass is about $50 per person cheaper.

We were there spring break this year and the price for atlantis/comfort suites was minimum of $400 plus resort fees. Not worth it for me. The passes from Atlantis are capacity controlled so if Atlantis and CS are booked full there may be no passes available. We had fun doing other things on the island.

My family just returned from our cruise on August 8th. My kids are 19 and 16, and had read about the Atlantis and wanted to go. We left the cruise ship at 8:00 am, and took a Taxi for 4 dollars per person over to the Atlantis. Our Taxi driver actually walked us to the correct booth where there were only 7 day passes left at 8:45 am. (if your going to do this... do not wait, as they are first come first serve) We paid $105.00 a piece. To my family it was worth every penny. We went to the towel hut, and got our towels/chairs... went to the locker house and paid $6.00 for a locker with unlimited access until 6:00 pm, then we toured "The Dig" which was beyond beautiful if you like sea life (which we do) Then we spent about 3 hours riding slides and tube rides which were very fun since we all like to do that sort of thing. We then found a "take out" corner and we all had cheeseburgers, fries, and refillable cokes, for $38.00 for all 4 of us. (Pricey but didn't break the bank!) Then the kids took off an rode rides again while my husband and I went to the pool and enjoyed the pools and sun. We turned in our locker key about 5:00 pm found a Taxi for $4.00 per person again to take us back to the port, and we were eating dinner in the main dining room at 6:00 pm. All in all... I would not trade that day for anything, AND... IF you like beautiful aquariums, along with water rides and you have teenagers, in my opinion it was worth every dime! Memories we will never forget! (** Note, the reason we did not book a room in advance, is that some friend of ours had done that, and the seas were rough and the Captain had to change their itinerary. They got to Nassau a day early and could not change their room, and lost their money... we chose to take the chance on the day passes, and for us, it worked out well.)

Thanks for your post. I'm still not sure what to do! I don't want to risk my little one not being able to go as this is the whole reason she picked this cruise (most time Nassau port). It is the only excursion we have planned for the entire week.

I don't know if this is still valid, but we were there in June 2002. We entered the hotel and walked out the back door into the gardens and turned left past a guard and down into the large aquarium where you could see a lot of sea life. We did not pay for this.

You can no longer walk out the back door without a wristband. Security guards are all over the grounds.
