Where is port in relation to Waikiki?

Hi-my mother and I are planning a 7 day inter island cruise on Pride of America. Since the flight is very long from the east coast we plan to arrive a few days before. Just wondering how far Waikiki is from the cruise port? In case we have to take a cab. Thanks

About 3 miles northwest of Waikiki as the crow flies. Longer of course, on the street, with traffic. Depends a little on where you stay in Waikiki.

We are most likely staying at the Sheraton in Waikiki.

About a $25 taxi ride. :)

Fortunately for all three of my Hawaiian cruises (Island Princess, Golden Princess, and Golden Princess), we were at #11, which is a nice terminal.

Just off the POA. We also stayed in Waikiki the night before, and the cab ride to the pier was about $30 including tip. Took maybe 15 minutes - mostly due to traffic in Waikiki.
