Default Hot Tea variety/availability

I was wondering if there will be a variety of hot teas available in the dining room during meals. I like to have tea after dinner and also enjoy it with breakfast. However, I like to have some variety - not just Lipton black tea. Can anyone tell me if they have different varieties available and is it higher quality tea, such as Tazo or Stash? I am trying to decide if I should pack my own.

My pirate name is Captain Ethel Flint.
Even though there's no legal rank on a pirate ship, everyone recognizes you're the one in charge. Like the rock flint, you're hard and sharp. But, also like flint, you're easily chipped, and sparky. Arr!

It is Lipton brand, but it's not just the plain black tea bags. There are several "types" and "flavors", including decaf black tea, breakfast teas, herbal teas, green teas and some flavored teas. (the kinds in the foil packets, not just the ones with the paper tags)

I am a tea lover too. They do have different varieties in the MDR. I am particular about my tea so I bring my own Stash's English Breakfast tea for the morning when we have breakfast out on the balcony.

So you just order hot water from room service? I would like to bring my tea also but wondering how that would work.

If, by chance, you are in a JS or above, you will have a coffe and tea maker in your room.

If I remember correctly, they do have a decent variety of teas. I normally drink coffee in the mornings, but I do like tea in the afternoons.

I've been drinking very gourmet tea lately, and I've been totally spoiled by it, so I'll probably stick with coffee on our next cruise (I remember it being very good on RCI).

Thanks good idea. Not in a jr suite, just a balcony with no perks!

They have a big assortment of teas--Lipton black/pekoe is the minority...(that's what hubby likes, and it wasn't in the forefront of the offerings!)

You can get hot water and various teabags from sorrentos or the windjammer - whichever is nearest.
Paper cups or plastic mugs - I like to take my china cup - talk about a fussy tea jenny. lol

I decided to bring my own cup too. Its not china, but larger than the cups on the ship.
