Perhaps there is more to worry about in the downturn of the economy.
MSNBC and Business Week report that Baby Boomers have become frugal and cautious in their spending. "Baby Boomers curb free-spending ways" http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32126775...sonal_finance/ "The Boomers Stop Buying" http://www.businessweek.com/lifestyl...paign_id=msnbc Job loss and Storm Watch Protection maybe only the beginning of the cruise lines concerns. With RCI and NCL rolling out the Oasis of the Seas and the Epic respectively to the market, maybe a very very bitter pill and may hurt on the ledger sheet. I suggest that Carnival has made a wise choice not only offering this protection but have wisely stayed away from the "Bigger is Better" concept. Value for money looks like the place to be. I am a novice cruiser, but I sure appreciated this fact with our first cruise with Carnival Liberty. I am looking forward to checking out other lines, but the bar has been set in terms of dollars and the services/entertainment for those dollars. Yes I am a Baby Boomer!
