T'was Christmas 1990 in the old county jail
This love story began, it could not fail.
Among the steel bars, the sadness the pain
A joy came to be, with so much to gain.

We courted for years our relationship grew
The commitment we shared was honest and true.
Married in Maui, on a beach by the sea
Laughing and loving were always the key.
One child, two dogs and pussycats too
annual Princess cruises keep us anew.

Our first Princess cruise was on the Crown
The Dawn,Sea, Emerald and Sun have sailed us around.
The Coral was special, we loved her so much
Her sister the Island was just the right touch.

We returned to Maui a renewal in store
On the beach once again we vowed to adore
With Princess in our horizon our memories are made
Our love, our life I would never trade.

This story has a twist
No inmates be we-
A deputy sheriff and jail nurse is what you see.

So the best antidote for working in jail
Is being on Princess when she sets sail.
