GTY Upgrade on the Wind?
I have a friend that just booked cruise on the Wind for his father and fathers girlfriend as an 80th birthday present. He booked a Vista Suite GTY for a 7 day in October. Are upgrades ever given to GTY's like other lines?
 I know he would love his father to really have a birthday to remember..Host Dan

In my experience a lot of it will have to do with the clout of the TA with SS and his/her rep there. This does not mean an upgrade won't happen on its own since it's a guaranty booking. Make sure the 80th birthday is stressed to SS.
