When to expect tickets etc.

HEllo: I am going on the Star Flyer to Tahiti October 15 and was wondering when I could expect tickets , maybe baggage tags etc. I will call the Travel Agent when it gets a bit closer but I seem to recall reading that someone didn't receive theirs until 1week before. Is that the norm? That would really not work for me as I will be gone from here at least a week before the flight to LAX.

We got our tickets,info,luggage tags,etc about 3 weeks before we left.
