i want to book some excursions before i go not through the ocean village ship who have you guys used before and how did you rate them??

There are lots of hints and recommendations on here. The only note of caution I would use is not handing over any money/credit card details in advance. Not wishing to sound alarmist but there is no 100% certain guarantee you will get to your port of call if the weather turns and you will not get your money back. Also make sure you use someone with reliable transport - remember if you're not back on time, the ship will sail without you! It is worth it if you find someone good - we did a trip on St Maarten with our own taxi driver who took us round the island stopping off at several beaches. Good luck and have a fantastic holiday.

so say i wanted to do teh zipline adventure on one of the islands do you think i could just get off the ship, get a taxi to take me there and pay there? are there tour operators/tourist guides around the ports of call?
