Default Would we be out of place/outcasts?

We met a couple in San Juan airport after our Royal Cruise and they were telling us about Sea Dream. I have done some research but not fully familiar with SD yet. We did see the ships one year in a port.

We have done extensive cruising in the Eastern/Southern Caribbean. We enjoy spending the days on our balcony , reading , napping just relaxing. Things we never have time to do at home. We just want relaxation, no time schedule up at crack of dawn, go go go. We are not big socializers during the day. Would we be considered unfriendly and unwelcome? I could see plopping on that queen sunbed having drinks brought to us and being in heaven.

At night we enjoy meeting people over the dinners, Socializing , etc. We have always left our cruises with friends we keep in touch with.

We would happily forgo shows , hairy contests, announcements, bingo etc.

We have never done ship excursions in ports, but does Sea Dream help arrange port activites? Just curious

I sooo wish I would have done Sea Dream for our Med cruise last fall.

Thank you so much for your reply. I look forward to reading your links.

We don't really stay in our cabin. We get large balconies and park ourselves outside. Just to stay away from announcemnts, games , etc. I hope I don't make it sound like we are terrible. We just enjoy relaxing, looking at the water. I can get chaos at home.

I see your from Ohio. My husband was born in Lima OH

From what you have described I think that you would fit in on SD perfectly!

The outdoor public spaces on SD are so wonderful and plentiful that you will not miss a balcony ... at least we haven't!

Nope. You're not terrible. Based on the above, you're perfect for SD. The outdoor spaces, like DisneyJen said, are wonderful and I don't think you'll miss the balcony, especially if you used it to get away from the chaos.

The only thing you'll find while sitting on a Sunbed on Deck 6 is beautiful water, punctuated by an attentive server who brings you champagne at the exact moment you're ready for it.

"I can get chaos at home." ROFL!

Yes, I'm in central Ohio. Lima isn't too far away. We got tons of snow yesterday.

I used to live in Greensboro, NC. Small world, huh?

I knew the DJs did. Didn't know you & FT did.

I love NC. And, it's obviously full of great people!

Frogfuzz....I was a bit concerned the SD yachts might be TOO small...but they definitely are not. Perfect size, excellent outdoor space and no annoying broadcast over the PA, no crazy pool games, etc. Wonderfully civilized and relaxed.
Book SeaDream without hesitation!
Rgds,
Gantt
