Question If you have cruised on Poesia since January 16, 2010 ...

and you saw the Thursday gala night Euphoria show in the theater, can you tell me about the Russian bar trio act:

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pi...d=283712471224

At the end of their performance, did the 2 guys each stand up and balance on one of those big exercise balls--still holding up the bar and girl at the same time--while the girl did a somersault on the bar?

They tried to do this during the cruise I was on, and almost made it, too--the somersault was perfect, but she slipped at the very very end, when getting down from the bar. It was the one of the most unbelievable things I've ever seen (and they attempted this on a moving ship!) I haven't read any other posts about it, so I'm wondering if they've tried it again lately ...

Default Please post a photo ...

Another picture--from flickr--this is RIGHT before the 2 guys get up on the big silver balls. It's the closest one I have found so far:

If anyone has a picture showing them actually standing up on the balls while holding her balanced on the bar, please post it or send me a link.

Thank you SO much!

Default missed step......

Euphoria was one of our favorite shows....unfortunately, she attempted the jump, but fell, and seemed to have cut the rest of her performance, otherwise a fabulously visual show

Thanks MSC=FAMILY

That's similar to what happened on our cruise, too--she fell at the very end of the first show, and so they completely cut their part out of the 2nd show.

But I think she's really brave to try that week after week!

She nailed it perfectly when we went at the end of March. (late show)

Hi Sinjin,

I'm so glad to hear that

I was hoping practice would make perfect, but I still don't know how they are compensating for the unpredictable movement of the balls and of the ocean!
