Carol,

I have this appliance that works like a waffle iron too but it's for sandwiches.....LOL I had it for years and the kids used to make pizza sandwiches in it with bread, cheese, pepperoni and tomato sauce when they were little. I just came across it in the basement not long ago and was thinking of getting rid of it too. Well, I've been trying to pawn it off on Nicholas, but he doesn't seem to interested so might just ditch it.

As far as toasters go...........we don't have one. Poor Tony complains everytime he toasts bread in the toaster oven - they just don't toast bread like an old fashioned toaster does! LOL I didn't want another thing sitting on the counter but I might have to give in............LOL A retirement gift for him! LOL

Patty- that's exactly what I threw out - the first and only time we used it, we put the bread slices on the slots - filled with apple pie filling, placed the other bread on top and voila! apple turnovers!!

Now I have two of those GT Express machines - buy one, get another free - haven't tried that yet - it makes the omelets, burritos, even individual cakes - that lady Kathy does a good job of selling - I haven't tried it yet.

Speaking of toasters...I have the toaster from hell...well sorta anyway...I just had to buy it several years ago because it was red. Well the dang thing doesn't like to toast...so I usually have to hit it twice to get the toast brown...

Everytime I go to use it I think why didn't I buy one while I was out??? Keep forgetting to get a new one...but will soon now that I am talking about it. LOL

This is great that we have several who have sailed on Solstice...now we have some brains to pick for information...YAY. =)

And if Silhouette is as nice (which no doubt she will be) as Solstice and gets the great reviews then we are in for a real treat.

Jim and I are relative newcomers to Celebrity and have only sailed the Western Caribbean outside of West Coast sailings...so really looking forward to the Eastern C.

Pam, What are you doing posting here? Yes you have more days because you got to do the TA that was at the wrong time of the year for me. We all welcome your wisdom and hope you go with us on this one.
Char, you will love the eastern caribbean. Nice beaches and for the most part you are safe when off the ship by your self. If your husband is like mine, he is clueless where we are going or what the ship is called. Pam can tell you how he makes us laugh.

Pam...my hubby is the same way...he even has trouble remembering the ships we have already sailed on...he remembers the locations and ports but that is about it...gotta love them. =)

We are very eager to sail to the Eastern Carib...and also seeing NJ...that will be the farthest north we have been in the Eastern part of the U.S.

We are also looking forward to meeting Carol & Narce's New Jersey Pals...as they call all of you.

Char, Isn't it nice that we have such nice husbands that will go anywhere we want them to go as long as it is with us. Rod is the sweetest man I have ever met, annoying at times but still wanting to please me makes me happy. He lets me book cruises and then just says where are we going? He loves the sea and sitting on his balcony. We are usually so busy at home that he enjoys the quiet and peace that only the ocean can give.

Pat, you just described John too! He knows I love all the planning, researching and booking the cruises so he leaves that up to me. He just wants to know when to take off of work......

Patty, No ours is the second sailing. The first sailing is Nov. 6. I am glad that we aren't on that one. . It will be coming back from Rome and it might be that you could not get on as early as we all like because of it have to go through more paper work coming from overseas.

Walt calls me the cruise director but actually, I don't care where the ship goes. I do prefer the Eastern and Southern but anywhere will do.

I talked to my t/a yesterday about taking out group space because I think the price will sky rocket, just like the Oasis and Allure.

We did a group several years ago for the Explorer. Everyone met at our house, left their cars out in the mum field, and a bus took us to the ship. Really nice. Some of the women were already drinking as soon as we got out of the driveway, LOL

Patty, wasn't that the year we got you in on a group deal at the last minute?

Ahhhhh the sun is shining, feels soo good.

Alright gang... I'm here! Is Rick on this cruise too? Very cool... this is turning out to be a big 4 year reunion of November '07 on Explorer!

Just so no one loses count, only 583 days until we sail. LOL... that is a long time. But it will get here eventually, don't worry!

I still have loads of X questions, but we have LOTS of time to discuss and forget and re-discuss and re-forget!! HAHAHA!!! #1 on my list will be our concierge drinks... not that I really care about drinking or anything, but it is a nice perk!!

I know Carol is thrilled to be here scoring "points". To hell with a toaster Carol, in 583 days you should have enough points for a free cruise!!!

By the way, I see we are already out in the lead with posts on all of the Silhouette roll calls. With this gang already booked and a year and a half to chat, I'd be stunned if any other roll call catches us. Any predictions? 2000 posts by the time we sail? Maybe more?? LOL!!! Corkey wins a cruise!!!

So happy to see the group coming together again. Here's to another fun cruise from Cape Liberty. Good to see Alex and Mimi posting now. We will defintely have more than 2000 post by the time we sail. Did you know that on Royal if you sail 100 cruises they give you a free cruise. Carol might have a better chance over there than over here.

We're not doing too bad. After our Oct. b2b we will be at 50 !
