Default June or August?

Hi.....we are thinking about this cruise in 2011.

Is there any difference between June or August.....by August have any of the leaves turned color? What about weather and roughness of the sea......is one month better than the other or about the same?

Thanks

I see no one has responded. I live in New England. There will be no colored leaves in June or August. If I were going to take a New England cruise, I would go in August when the weather will be the warmest it is all year, although probably not warm by California standards. This will give you a better chance of enjoying the days at sea by the pool.

I live in Maine. August would be a better time to go. Warmest weather of the year. No color change til mid/late september. Usually calm seas and warm days, bigger crowds but still not terrible. Have fun.
