Ship - Freedom of the Seas
Deck - 9
Stateroom # - 9638
Stateroom Category – Junior Suites
Starboard or Port Side - Port
Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Quiet yes however the piano in the Royal Suite above can be heard
Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No
Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Great view, center HUMP JS
Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Standard size on the hump so sticks out further than the other side balconies
Was wind a problem? - No problem for us
Any specific problems with this cabin? - the piano in the Royal Suite above can be heard when played, otherwise a perfect cabin. Would definitely book it again.

Ship - Radiance of the Seas
Deck - 3
Stateroom # - 3561
Stateroom Category – Interior N
Starboard or Port Side -
Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Not really. Right next to crew door, so around 7 door started opening and closing with a loud thud
Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No
Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. –
Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? -
Was wind a problem? -
If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? -
Any specific problems with this cabin? - Being next to a crew door, isn't the best of things, but other than that, great cabin
Any other comments? - It was a sideways cabin, so people said it seemed bigger that normal inside cabins. Great layout, and perfect for people who are prone to seasickness.

Ship - Grandeur of the Seas
Deck - 2
Stateroom # - 2107
Stateroom Category – Interior N
Starboard or Port Side - Midship
Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Eerily quiet. Hardly any traffic at all. Never saw anyone in the hallways but the cleaning staff and even they were like ghosts. There was a bit of rumbling the first night, but we were going through a bad storm, so it could have been from that. Otherwise, smooth as silk.
Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - I don't believe it was.
Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – No balcony, inside cabin.
Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - No balcony, inside cabin.
Was wind a problem? - Not applicable, inside cabin.
If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - Not applicable, inside cabin.
Any specific problems with this cabin? - None whatsoever.
Any other comments? - This is a disabled-access cabin, so it was quite spacious and had plenty of room for a wheelchair and a walker. Cabin is near the elevators so is very accessible for those who need the accommodations. The room is VERY dark when the lights are off, may disorient those who need a small light source to sleep. I'd recommend taking along a small nightlight or something to help you see when you wake up - you will not know what time of the day it is because it's pitch-black day or night. No complaints, however, the room is lovely and quite accessible to the disabled.

Ship - Explorer of the Seas
Deck - 7
Stateroom # - 7320
Stateroom Category – E2
Starboard or Port Side - Starboard
Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Very quiet
Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No
Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Hump cabin, so great view forward and aft
Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal
Was wind a problem? - No - Sheltered because of the way the balconies on Explorer are part of the superstructure
If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A
Any specific problems with this cabin? - None at all, a wonderful cruise.
Any other comments? - Hump location is wonderful. Essentially right out the door to the stairs and elevators, and library on Deck 7 (RCI online for Deck 8, future cruise desk for Deck 6). Two quick decks down for Promenade, and a couple more for MDR, depending on the level.

Ship - Mariner of the Seas
Deck - 7
Stateroom # - 7590
Stateroom Category – E2
Starboard or Port Side - Port, just forward of midship
Quiet Stateroom? - Mostly; could hear some distant thumping night club music after 10:30pm, though not past midnight
Balcony View - Yes (really, no obstructions - even looking straight down you only get a little sliver of lifeboat)
Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal
Was wind a problem? - If it was windy at sea, it was windy on the balcony, though not as bad as on the open deck (the jogging track for instance). But it was not a problem, was never worried about stuff blowing away on the balcony
Any specific problems with this cabin? - No
Any other comments? - We found the port side to offer very nice views coming into port in the Mexican Riviera, particularly nice while anchored in Cabo. Nice to have shower doors as opposed to curtains, though shower is still too small to bend over and pick up something, or touch your toes in...More than ample storage and closet space. Privacy curtain between bed and sofa a nice touch, though we didn't make use of it. Good size fridge if you take out their stocked beverages, also safe was convenient and easy to use.

Ship - Liberty
Deck - 8
Stateroom # - 8377
Stateroom Category – Interior N (I think it was N)
Starboard or Port Side - I don't remember, but it wasn't along a corridor, it was in between the two sides. Hard to explain.
Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Surprisingly, yes, even though I think we MIGHT have been near a steward station or closet or something. And I'm the world's lightest sleeper.
Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No
Any specific problems with this cabin? - None
Any other comments? - Definitely a small cabin (152 sq. ft I think) but suitable for two, and had plenty of storage space.

Starboard or Port Side - I don't remember
Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Very
Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No
Any specific problems with this cabin? - None major. Some rust and dirt in the bathroom...
Any other comments? This room is tiny. I had it to myself. 121 sq. ft. I think. I don't know how easy it would be to share a room this size, but then again it's only 3-4 nights so it's probably doable.

Starboard or Port Side - I don't remember
Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Very
Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No
Any specific problems with this cabin? - No problems
Any other comments? The obstructed views in this category aren't that bad EXCEPT FOR THIS ROOM. I was able to see the views from many other cabins because I was doing a B2B and on turnaround day, I was the only passenger onboard and I was allowed to check out my new room. All of the doors were open. I don't really care about the view - I picked this room because my sister was joining me so we wanted to move into a bigger room from what I was in before (see posting right above). If you care about the view, don't take 9024.

Ship – Explorer of the Seas
Deck - 9
Stateroom # - 9330
Stateroom Category – Junior Suite
Starboard or Port Side - Port
Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Stateroom was quiet with no significant noise heard. Close enough to elevators without being bothered by stairwell noise, etc.
Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? –Yes. Connecting stateroom is 9334.
Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Slight obstruction to the left, since it is right next to a hump cabin.
Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal
Was wind a problem? –No.
If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? – N/A
Any specific problems with this cabin? – No problems whatsoever.
Any other comments? –We loved the cabin and location so much we booked it (and the adjoining cabin) again for July 2011. My mother and her friend were in the adjoining cabin and with the door closed we could not hear their conversations. Cabin steward was okay.

Quiet Stateroom? Quiet, with occassional chair scraping noise from WJ above. Nothing to keep you awake!(With comments on problems) –
Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? -No
Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. Great view-the window washing equipment hangs from the top back of the balcony overhang....obstructs NOTHING...no problem!–
Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - The balcony is a bit wider than normal, wider than the cabin! There's a covered space, great for napping on the lounger. (The 1096 didn't have a lounger!) There was a larger patio table, too, plus 2 regular chairs.
Was wind a problem? -No.
If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? -No.
Any specific problems with this cabin? -Very, very long walk back and forth to the cabin!
Any other comments? -I was very nervous about this cabin and the "obstruction"..I shouldn't have stressed...it was lovely![/quote]

Any other comments? - This cabin has a very large window. It was really great to sit on the bed and watch the dolphins jump the waves going into Cabo and back out. Another thing is that it is really quiet as there are only 8 staterooms in this area and it's a dead end.
