Default Telerifica Barcelona (Cable Car Montjuic)

Hallo. I will be in Barcelona in October for the day with Celebrity and wanted to take the Funicular from Paralell Subway station up the hill to Montjuic and then hop onto the Telerifica that goes passed Miramar to the Castell. Roundtrip then take subway to Sagrada Familia slowly head back to ship past la Rambla.
Has anyone ever done it? (the Cable car on the Mountain? Is it worth it or will it take too much time out of my itenary. Will be in port from 9 am till 6p.m.

Thanks

We went on the funicular from Para-lel metro and up the Telerific, it was easy- just follow the signs inside the metro stop to the funicular, and on Montjuic there are lots of maps and signs. The funicular doesn't offer a view at all, but it is very cool from the Telerific.

We acually just went up the telerific, then walked around the Castel (long), and hit the Miro' and MNAC museums, then walked down to the metro at Espanya (I think) for our return. but this was a long adventure, you can't do those museums and Sagrada Familia.

Note that the lines at SF can be brutal, you may want to do your trip in reverse? Sagrada Familia first, then up to Montjuic?

Or take the Transbordador Aeri from Port Vell up to Montjuic (1 way up), Telerific, then Funicular down to Para-lel metro, to Sagrada Familia with a pre-purchased SF ticket for say 2 pm, then you can either metro or taxi back towards the port or the top of Las Ramblas?

Remember to add on times for lines if you are there on a weekend, or in more prime tourist season.
