We did the Boat Yard last trip and would like to try something new.
Looking for a nice uncrowded beach with a bar, inexpensive local lunch, and close to the terminal. We've narrowed down to the following: Payne's Bay, the Coach House, Bomba's restaurant, Sandy Lane Bay, and Weisner's. Can someone tell me more about these often mentioned spots so we can make a decision. thanks

my favorite is Paynes Bay, at the Coach House. The Coach house has a drinks cart on the beach and you can also order lunch and it's brought out to the picnic table set up..
Not really what I like about that beach, as they have commercialized it more.. but they have done it in a nice way.. more or less. But the beach itself is a nice cove area.. not to croweded, unless you unfortunately get the Harbour Master cruise stopping there.. but even then it's still nice.. you can walk to the north to Sandy Lane Beach and see who's staying there. or stay and enjoy the waters of Paynes Bay. By the way.. I don't like Bombas.. stay on the beach and get the food from Coach House, much better deal. Enjoy |
