Best things to see on a taxi tour in Martinique?

We've never been to Martinique but have been to many other islands. What would be the most interesting, non-dull or boring, things to see if we were to do a taxi tour on this island? We'll have some 20-something, 1st time cruisers w/us and would also hope to maybe have time to visit a beach for a bit. (By the way, we really aren't into botanical gardens at all!). Any suggestions? Thanks!

what you could do is, cross the Fort-de-France's bay by shuttle boat and go to Pointe du Bout. There, you can visit the Pointe du Bout, shop a while, have a drink or go to the beach. You can also rent a taxi there and visit the caribean coast : go to 3 Ilets, visit the Sugarcane House, visit the Pottery village or la Pagerie (home of Empress Josephine Bonaparte)....or just take a taxi to Grand Anse, a very nice beach where you can have a drink and rent a chair at the Quai Sud Lounge Bar...

Be sure, you'll find something fantastic to do!!
