I think these deals are relative. I'm booked on a Thanksgiving week cruise. The current prices are not bad. However, I booked a long time ago. The prices have increased 27% since I booked. So, who is getting the better deal, me or someone who waited to now to book?

For an alternative perspective, I'm also booked on a Thanksgiving week cruise, which we just picked up a week ago. From what the folks on the roll call are saying, we got a major steal with this fare - $44/night! I'd call that a major bargain.
