Default Drink Cards on Holland America?

Our large family has been on one cruise before....on Costa Cruise Line. We are now booked for a cruise on Holland America, Jan. 2nd. We don't have even ONE complaint from our last cruise....but one feature we discovered before we went on our previous cruise was the X1 card (discovered by Cruise Critic posts). It was a pre-paid beer/wine/soft drink card for meal times, but HAD to be purchased before we sailed. We found GREAT value in it and would love to find such a thing this time! Does anyone who has sailed on Holland America specifically NIEUW AMSTERDAM know of any such deals? Also any other tips or advise for a large family (teenaged children) on a budget cruising together? Thanks a million!

You can buy a $50 soda card for $25 and beverage cards for beer and wine under indulgences on the HAL website. The liquor cards don't appear to save you much.

HAL has nothing close to Costa's 'unlimited' X1 package (I wish they did).
Sent from my cave using smoke signals after rubbing two sticks together to make fire.
