Hotel in Anchorage or Seward??
I am flying into Anchorage for a Holland America cruise leaving out of Seward. I am coming in the day before. Should I book in Anchorage or Seward. Any specific recommendations for hotels. Not sure if rent car and drive to seward and get hotel or if should get hotel in anchorage than drive to Seward in the morning.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

Does HAL have a bus for people from Anchorage to Seward? You might want to check on that. I would think they would have transportation for their passengers as everyone has to fly into Anchorage to get to Seward. Or you might want to check the train schedule to verify it agrees with your departure time in Seward and then plan to stay over night in Anchorage with the morning train ride the next day. btw: Captain Cook is a good hotel in Anchorage.
Seward is very small...hotel space may be harder to get there.
