Default Summit - Which side is better for Alaska?

So is either side better or worse for viewing Alaska while on the Summit. Some folks say to get the port side some say starboard. Is there really any difference?

Take me to the Lido deck I need another burger!

Depends which way you are going, I guess...
Assuming the major land masses are on your right as you travel northbound ...or on your left if you travel southbound...

My TA seems to think this is a big deal...until we reminded her that our cabin--although on the port side--actually faces FRONT!!!

And, of course, some folks would rather stand around up on the top deck to get a 360 degree view...

And, then there's my theory: Just get me on the ship...

There really isn't much difference. You sail mostly the inside passage, so there is scenery on both sides. They turn the ship at the glaciers so both sides get a view. Just go for the cabin you want.
