Grocery Store by Sandcastle Beach

Hi all,

We will be in St Croix in April on the Serenade and plan to spend the day lying on the beach at Sandcastle. We dock at 7 am. What is the closest place we can get beer/alcohol/snacks to take to the beach with us that will be open that early? I know there is a Kmart about 10 minutes away, but will ip be open by 7? Also, approximately what will the cost of the taxi be to the store and back to the beach?
