Debarking in St Maarten...

Anyone here debarked in St Maarten? We will be leaving the Star Clipper in St Maarten after our Feb 26-Mar5 Treasure Island Cruise. Our flight doesn't leave until 4pm. We will most likely spend the day in Philipsburg while waiting. What do we do with our luggage? I've heard that there are some lockers dockside, but are they sufficient for a suitcase or two? Is there any security for them? If the lockers aren't sufficient, what do you suggest? Thanks!
