Someone should really sticky this to the top.

I second this. This is a true, comprehensive list of the amenities that so many people ask about.

Every time I read a list of suite perks it gets me more and more pumped about my upcoming cruise on the Pearl!

Thank you OP; this is the best list I've seen yet. Even answers my other binoculars question (too bad didn't give brand). I find it interesting when they call it "French Champagne" - my understanding is that if it isn't from France then its not champagne (and pass the poupon while we're at it). I also think the list would be more complete if they would add butler assisted skeet shooting as a suite guests amenity.

Tanless: you and I have to hang out some time, but instead of Skeet..you bring your Barnett and i'll bring My M1-E2...lets go for 500 to 800 yd targets...isn't that more fun then skeet???:D

When are you going, and what cat. are you booked in? I'm curious, as we might upgrade on our Pearl cruise in Nov.

I will be awaiting a review if you're going b4 we are.

Thanks! :-)

Not sure how old this list is but there was none of the following list in the DOS on the Gem. The bar soap was Elemis and is wonderful. :) There is also no DVD menu on the Gem because they have pay per view movies instead. No eye gel, lip rescue, refresh gel at all. So don't expect everything on this list on all ships. I only glanced at the list so who knows how many other things have been changed since the PCC created/received this list.

Vitamin Rich Body Lotion 40ml

Pure Zest boxed Soap 80g

That is true, unless it is from a very specific region of France it is considered sparkling wine

I think they should add 'free internet access' to this list :D

and, don't they have VIP seating in the theatre for 'suite guests'??

Only GV, DOS and OS's officially have theatre seating but other suites sometimes use it also.

Technically, I believe that's correct. Champagne with a capital C can only come from the Champagne region in France, made in a certain way.

All others are supposed to be labled "methode champagnois" or some such (pardon my high school French spelling).

However, this is kind of like "Xerox." It's a distinction that's so commonly misapplied and in such general use that it lost the copyright.

But here's my question: Is the Champagne in the OS and GV really French? The bottle of sparkling wine you get in PH suites is definitely not. It's a moderately cheap California sparkler...pleasant enough to start the cruise though.

We are booked in category SF (aft penthouse). Unfortunately, we are not going until December. Looks like I'll be leaning on you for a review! :D

Yes, it's really French! In our DOS on the Star this Spring it was a half bottle of Dom Pérignon Brut.
