Default 8/26/12 yes or no

We are looking at booking 8/26/12 out of Galveston to Montego Bay, Grand Cayman & Cozumel. Sailing on Magic.

My wife is very leary because of sea sickness. Have read where ships divert but wife still feels that seas will be to rough (or could be).

Just wondering what all you Hurricane experts think. Thank-you in advance.

No one knows what the weather will be a year from now. The Gulf is not as quiet or smooth during Hurricane Season - but there are exceptions to every rule.
Go Gamecocks!

Default Also looking at August/early September

I am also looking at a cruise for late August or early September. This is the time when the prices actually drop a lot.

Anyone been in Cozumel or Grand Cayman during this season? Does it actually rain a lot in the ports of call/no sun (granting the ship has successfully docked)

I'm not allow to post links, but I have some great climatology for Mexico and the Caribbean at tropicalweather.net. Hope this helps.
