Bob Marley Tour

New to posting, please bear with me.
I'm curious about the Bob Marley tour. Has one participated in this tour?
If so, please provide detailed information if you don't mind.
Shore excursion for Carnival, lists it as a 5.5 hour tour. Just wondering if a private tour with a local operator would be worth it, and how far is it from Ocho Rios, and how much time was actually spent in 'Nine Mile??

Any information would be appreciated.
