And I would like to point out, Sharon, that even though you can't see them, he's wearing really nice shoes.

It's probably because I'm so jealous of BHT and her milestone, but I just had to resurrect this picture since I just found out it's going to be Navy Week in New Orleans while I am there to catch the Conquest. Tall Ships, Destroyers, The Blue Angels... and that's just their stage names

Carole: LOL! Great line.

Coreo: Great art work. When I use it in the future I doubt you'll be given the proper credit.

Sharon: I had a T-bird when we lived in California, but it just wasn't me. It's why they wrote that song "I'm too sexy for my car." So I traded it in on a Corvette. Then, it turns out, the car was too sexy for me, so I had to give it to Jan. She drove it for 10 years.

JUDY, I bought some of that 2 Buck Chuck years ago after a wine connoisseur friend of mine recommended it. I thought it was dreadful. It must be because my palate is so especially refined and delicate. (sure... that's it).

CAROLE, Your assignment, should you decide to accept it, is to go to NOLA and get a photo w/ above mentioned "sailor." He gives Fleet Week a whole new sparkle!

LARRY, I've always said that a 'Vette was a Barbi car! Bob disagrees as he has Corvette envy. I've read (I didn't make this up) that men who drive corvettes are either short (Bob), fat (Bob) and/or bald (not Bob) and you don't fit into those categories. My T-bird is definitely a chick car. Here's a picture of what mine looks like.... not my actual car as it's not for sale. It SCREAMS chick car:

Judy, based on my personal experience as your friend, God is listening.

Okay, it took me awhile to figure out what your were talking about, then I started laughing. I've stopped now, so I can type again.

Also, definitely a chick car, but beautiful.

Even though you are my friend, you are among "my thinner" Friends. I saw that kitten and just couldn't stop laughing - any excuse I can find to make myself look thinner - where is the circus? I know there is a lady I can stand next to.....

Default I'm so happy

to peek here and see friendly chatter!

I'm supposed to be packing. My downfall? Shoes. I just have to take my new taupe shoes. And there is the new cute strappy two toned open toe shoes. And I need to take a sensible pair. Nah, that's a dumb idea. If I'm taking 3, lets go cute all the way and take another pair of heels. And my flip flops don't really count as shoes and I have to take them because they are so handy at the pool.

Then there is my yoga towel. Workout clothes. Electronics.

Apparently I will be naked otherwise as I'm committed to carry on only. 5 nights with carry on. Lets see if this can be done!

I say wear the athletic shoes as they are heavy and you'll have them to work out. Then take flip flops because they are also bedroom slippers, taupe is the new black which is the new 30. And sexy shoes for when you're nekkid. I've solved your dilemma. And guess what. I AM UNPACKED OFFICIALLY. Unfortunately I couldn't remember which side of my suitcase had the CLEAN clothes so I'm having to wash everything. (they're all so wrinkled I have no idea what's clean and what's used). Aren't you PROUD of me everyone? And it isn't even time for me to pack for my son's wedding yet! I ROCK. This is seriously a record. Only 10 days post vacation.

Judy, Sharon and Patricia, thanks for the birthday cakes and balloons. It's just wonderful getting older.

Gee, there seems to be a lot of packing and unpacking going on here. Jan and I are packing this morning 'cause we're flying out to California later today. I guess the closest we'll get to Coreo is Thursday when we'll be only about 30 miles south of Carmel. Of course, I don't know her itinerary, so she might be in Vegas then.

Anyhow, we plan to have fun, and we'll come back home on the 26th. I'll try to peek in on CC from time to time. And for you, Sharon, we'll got to In-N-Out.

Coreo, enjoy all your travel.

Larry
