Sharon: I had a T-bird when we lived in California, but it just wasn't me. It's why they wrote that song "I'm too sexy for my car." So I traded it in on a Corvette. Then, it turns out, the car was too sexy for me, so I had to give it to Jan. She drove it for 10 years.

JUDY, I bought some of that 2 Buck Chuck years ago after a wine connoisseur friend of mine recommended it. I thought it was dreadful. It must be because my palate is so especially refined and delicate. (sure... that's it).

LARRY, I've always said that a 'Vette was a Barbi car! Bob disagrees as he has Corvette envy. I've read (I didn't make this up) that men who drive corvettes are either short (Bob), fat (Bob) and/or bald (not Bob) and you don't fit into those categories. My T-bird is definitely a chick car. I'm supposed to be packing. My downfall? Shoes. I just have to take my new taupe shoes. And there is the new cute strappy two toned open toe shoes. And I need to take a sensible pair. Nah, that's a dumb idea. If I'm taking 3, lets go cute all the way and take another pair of heels. And my flip flops don't really count as shoes and I have to take them because they are so handy at the pool.

Then there is my yoga towel. Workout clothes. Electronics.

Apparently I will be naked otherwise as I'm committed to carry on only. 5 nights with carry on. Lets see if this can be done!

I say wear the athletic shoes as they are heavy and you'll have them to work out. Then take flip flops because they are also bedroom slippers, taupe is the new black which is the new 30. And sexy shoes for when you're nekkid. I've solved your dilemma. And guess what. I AM UNPACKED OFFICIALLY. Unfortunately I couldn't remember which side of my suitcase had the CLEAN clothes so I'm having to wash everything. (they're all so wrinkled I have no idea what's clean and what's used). Aren't you PROUD of me everyone? And it isn't even time for me to pack for my son's wedding yet! I ROCK. This is seriously a record. Only 10 days post vacation.

Gee, there seems to be a lot of packing and unpacking going on here. Jan and I are packing this morning 'cause we're flying out to California later today. I guess the closest we'll get to Coreo is Thursday when we'll be only about 30 miles south of Carmel. Of course, I don't know her itinerary, so she might be in Vegas then.

Anyhow, we plan to have fun, and we'll come back home on the 26th. I'll try to peek in on CC from time to time. And for you, Sharon, we'll got to In-N-Out.
