Cartagena Grocery Store
Does anyone know where a grocery store is within walking distance of the old town? My husband and I always like to check them out for the local foods and coffee.

You will find several there in the old town. Off the top of my head, I know there is an Exito and an Olympica.

globalwife, is the water safe in Cartagena? Or should we find a market that sells bottled water?

Buy some water to be safe since you might not be used to it. I drank bottled water for the first month that I lived here. Now I drink the tap water in Cartagena now but wouldn't risk it for a day.
