I assume they do but since it's rarely followed on longer cruises I doubt it's a big deal on the weekend trips.
My 1st cruise was a 4 night on the Majesty of the Seas. While I enjoyed the trip, I would never bother to pack formal clothes for such a short cruise again. It's a waste of space & by about 1 hour after dinner we were literally the only people still dressed up. Everyone else had changed into shorts.

Always, night 2! Night one, not everyone's luggage will have arrived, and night 3, everyone is packing to go home. Always, night 2 on a 3 nighter!
