Where does the Triumph dock in Coz?

Can't remember the names of the piers, but RCCL docks out of town. I've seen Carnival ships docked at the dock near downtown. Is that the dock they all use?

We were there on Tues. last week on The Glory and Triumph was docked next to us at Puerta Maya.

It's the worst spot in relation to getting down town.

Puerta Maya is about 4 miles south of downtown (closer to the bigger beaches) and 1/3 mile south of the TMM International Pier. You will need a taxi to downtown ($7 for 1-4 passengers) and to most beaches ($10-$25 for 1-4 passengers). There is a taxi pricing guide on the Puerta Maya site. http://www.puertamaya.com/ Puerta Maya does have a full range of shops including an outlet for Los Cincos Soles and Pancho's Backyard.

I do believe that RCCL docks at Punta Langosta. That may be the pier you are referring to that is closer to downtown. Int'l. Pier and Puerta Maya are further South than Punta Langosta. try this link - http://www.hotelpepitacozumel.com/im...ozumel-map.gif
it has a pretty neat map of Cozumel. Where it say "downtown pier" is Punta Langosta. Where it says "cruise ship pier and ferry" are the Int'l. and Puerta Maya piers.

There is a TRANSCARIBE car ferry pier next to and considered part of TMMI. PM is actually about a mm south on the scale and not shown on the linked map.

ASIDE: For car ferrying to the mainland, you depart through the TMMI entrance. Not heavily used. Not recommended for cruisers thinking about renting a car on Coz and ferrying across to Calica and driving down to Tulum or up to Cancun. Need to be at the ferry 1 hour before departure, which means you catch an 11AM(Coz) out but have return to Calica by 12:30PM(Coz) to get the 1:30PM(Coz) ferry back to Coz as next ferry leaves Calcia at 6PM (Coz).
