Piano Player

I have booked the piano player for entertainment at my reception onboard Carnival Conquest. Anyone out there had the piano player for theirs? I'm wondering if they just play background music or if I can pick out a playlist? What if I want a specific song for our first dance?

We looked into this, since we wanted very specific songs played at our wedding (and actually wanted to bring our own paino player). We were told we could submit a playlist, but should provide sheet music in advance for the songs you really want, since there is no guarantee that the piano player will know them. So for first dance or other 'must haves', you should probably make sure to forward the music.

We ended up opting for the DJ instead and were able to provide him with CDs of the 'special' music we wanted. But there was a piano in the room, so when the DJ left alot of guests hung out while our friend played a few special numbers for us.
