1st stupid question coming up .....

If there will be tea making facilities on the Dream after the re-furb are you ok to just use the tap water to boil. I know this sounds stupid but if im self catering abroard i always buy those huge bottles of water and use them for everything including making tea etc. I suppose the staff make tea with the tap water on board anyway or do they ?? is this a stupid question ??

Because of the purification process on board we were told the water is absolutely o.k. and better than most you'll find from a tap. As you say we assume the catering dept are using this same water - also to serve you water at the table etc. I find it ok but occasionally there is a bit of a chlorine-y taste but not bad enough for me to pay for bottled water!

Default taps

Kettles etc

not allowed as everyone on a muster drill switches them on

Bottle water on board , or take on own gallon container, bottles water on board not cheap, BUT water from dispensers available 24 hr but do not fill a bottle (sic ) you will be thrown overboard within 3 mins

Depends on what you use it for .Tea bags are ok but they do not allow you to take cats for your kettle.

It was certainly better than the water here in Oxford, it tastes like it has come out of the local swiming pool
