Does anyone know what time the straw market opens on a Sunday? We don't have a lot of time in Nassau. Thanks for any and all replies.

Yes, it's open on Sunday.. opens a little later for some (around 9:30/10am) and starts to close around 3.. since most of the ships are gone by then.

If you are in on a weekend (Saturday/ sunday only) .. you are lucky. Real bahamian artisans set up tables on Bay Street and sell local art, crafts, hair accessorites, shell and beach glass jewelry. These items must be truly bahamian.. so you're not getting chinese trinkets.
