Default Allure - hair dryer/flat iron

I am traveling on the Allure in a couple weeks. My wife would like to bring her own hair dryer and hair straightener (flat iron). Are these items allowed? I've searched around but seem to be getting different opinions. Thanks.

Yes they are allowed! I bring them every year! There is usually a hair dryer in the room (tethering into the top drawer of the vanity) but I prefer my own. One year ours was broken and the one they gave us for the week got extremely hot and just fried my hair.

Hope this helps!

There is a hair dryer already in the cabin. You could save some space in your luggage if she leaves her hair dryer at home. There should be a list of prohibited items on Royal Caribbeans website.

Thanks for the responses. We have been on Oasis twice and she hates the hair dryers. She has thick hair and it takes forever, so she would like to bring her own. I did check the website of prohibited items. Although they are not on there I'm sure the list doesn't include everything. Thanks again!

The bathroom plug is only for shavers....all other "primping" will have to be done at the vanity in the cabin.
